Author This weekend, the college football season begins! Tailgating, fans, and of course buying those new college jerseys and caps. I just bought my new Navy cap to wear to Saturday’s opener against the Blue Hens of Delaware.
In another week, the Pro’s begin – all on 9/11, and our 10th anniversary of this heinous event. It marks in earnest the use of our SmartShield EAS retail security system to protect The Flagship Store from shoplifting theft. The Flagship store is THE award winning retail store for fans at the MetLife Stadium (formerly known as The New Meadowlands) where the NY Giants and NY Jets play. Our RFID based solution features no visible pedestals, and some extremely detailed metrics involving alarms and events at the store. Watch out for more on this in future blogs!

Next Generation EAS Solution
At today’s NRF Loss Prevention Conference in Atlanta, BSI proudly launched what we believe is the true “next generation” EAS detection solution! The system is based on RFID technology and features a ceiling mounted intellegent solution that maps out the entry in software, and produces no false alarms. But the real benefit is that it can cover a retailer’s entrance up to 40 feet wide, with no pedestals…no loops…no door mountings…AND you can merchandise right up to the entrance…AMAZING!
