Author I am very pleased to announce the further growth of BSI’s mission to help retailers worldwide with their EAS Loss Prevention. We have officially taken our first official presence in Europe in order to be closer to our customers there. Bob Davis, a former ADT National Accounts Manager has begun to reach out to our customers and prospects and is based in the UK for BSI UK, Ltd. With local AM and RF products and supplies, he is well positioned to serve the needs of both new and existing retailers in the EU marketplace. Welcome Bob!

Blue Star Radios minimal size and weight helps L.P.
As we introduced the Blue Star BR1000 Business Radio to the Loss Prevention market, we assumed we would have success. We were not prepared for the overwhelming response to our BR1000 radio. After many tests of this radio in L.P. departments across the country, we have found out the reasons for our success.
After many conversations with L.P. personnel we found a few common themes to their complaints. Their current radios were so big and bulky that they were hard to hide. The current radios batteries were poorly constructed and would only hold a charge for a minimum of time. The radios would not charge quickly so the department would have the expense of many back up radios. The weight of the radios would damage clothing and reduce the locations staff could wear them.
After testing the Blue Star radios, our customers realized that the BR1000 answers all of those complaints. With the BR1000 radio Being 1/2 the size, and weighing only 6 oz., Our clients have eliminated several complaints immediately. With our military-grade Lithium-Ion battery, we have given our customers the ability to charge the BR1000 radio in only 1 hour. This battery system also allows them to use the radio for up to 15 hours per charge. This all adds up to helping the L.P. department be more efficient, more cost effective, and to give their staff the best possible equipment to perform their jobs.
